| Junior Hill Climb Award | A special award was given to the 3 youngest members of the club Theodore, Henry and Edward Creed. As they are under 12, they are not allowed to ride in TT / Hill Climb events on open roads. As luck would have it, Bristol University CC Hill Climb was being held on a closed road, Belmont Hill, west of Bristol. I was impressed by the boys performance. Theodore was 1st under 7, Henry was 1st under 10 and Edward just outside the medals 4th place. They had to ride the same hill as the big boys and girls, which included National Champions. |
