An exciting program is planned for 2023 by the committee. Planning is underway for an early Celebration of cycling and recruitment day in conjunction with one of the local schools. The event will provide training for children, and support for adult returners and novices.
In Spring we look forward to our usual Club Sportive. This will comprise 25, 40 and 60 mile loops based on Ston Eston Village Hall. There will of course be drinks before, snacks on the way and cakes upon your return.
As the season builds there will be the opportunity for the club supported !00 miler event, great for those that have already achieved a century, but designed for those that want to give it a go
The tradition of a summer challenge ride will continue. Past entrants on occasion have ridden to the far end of Somerset, sampled the delights of Sweets, and been recharged by Avebury and Stonehenge. Where will the event take you in 2023?
Late summer will see the return of our Treasure Hunt challenge.
As the roads cool we will anticipate skittles and fish and chip suppers.
