POSTPONED! Saturday Social/Public Ride Treasure Hunt

This treasure hunt / BBQ have been postponed due to bad weather forecast. The Saturday ride will continue as usual. Please check back for more details of the new date soon!

Anyone fancy a Saturday cycle ride with a twist?

On Saturday 29 July, our usual Saturday morning social ride will not only incorporate a treasure hunt, but will also finish at a club member’s house for a BBQ (weather permitting). Below is further information from Roy & Mandy Young:

• Open to all club members.
• Family welcome to BBQ.
• You can do just the ride or just the BBQ or both.
• It will be postponed to another weekend if the weather is too bad.

The Bike ride

It will be the usual Saturday social ride: approx. 25 miles undulating, with a coffee stop in the middle at Hartley’s. It will incorporate a Treasure Hunt, with things to spot and do. BRING A PEN! The ride will start and finish at the Miner’s Wheel in Radstock, 10:00am start.

The BBQ

At the end you can ride straight to the BBQ or join later. BBQ at the Youngs’ house: 37 Northmead Road, Midsomer Norton, BA3 2SQ. Start at 14:00 (option to drop off any items Friday 16.00-20.00 e.g. drink, change of clothes, extra food items for the BBQ, Veggie friendly BBQ food, any gazebos appreciated).
