Nailsworth
Stroud, Gloucestershire GL6 0DG
UK
This is a must-do ride!
It’s a ride in the Cotswolds and will take you down roads that you’ve never ridden before. Some of the treats that await you are:
- A view of the Severn Vale and Wales
- A churchyard that has 99 yew trees and the 100th won’t grow
- The valley where Rosie lost her virtue with a little help from a glass of Cider
- A hill to test us all
- A descent to the finish with hairpins
On Sunday 20 September, we’ll meet in Nailsworth at 09.30. To get to the start, leave Bath on the A46 and go to Nailsworth. At the mini roundabout turn left into Spring Hill and first left into Old Market. Bear right at Britannia Inn (postcode GL6 0DG) and use the free car-park on left. The AA route planner shows 34 miles and 1hr 3mins from Radstock, so leave at 8.00 a.m.
Please share transport. Drew has 1 place available. If you need a lift or have a place available, please give Drew a ring or email.
Lunch stop: Bisley Pub.
The mileage is modest at 40 miles and the finish is at the Britannia Inn. If you have any questions then please contact Drew Buck 01761 241679/079767559668, or email Menditangles1@tiscali.co.uk. Please make sure you have Drew’s mobile number with you.
