Somer Valley Cycling Club Criterium 2017

Enjoy an afternoon at the races! Great prizes and a wide range of events to encourage those new to racing, as well as the more experienced, including FREE entry for SVCC members to the Go-Ride event (simply sign up on the day)…

SVCC are hosting a high-quality circuit racing event this summer to attract keen cyclists to Odd Down and to give everyone an opportunity to enjoy this form of traffic-free racing. The event will be chip-timed to facilitate the placing of all riders (apart from the Go-Ride race), provide lap times and award prizes.

The Special SVCC Summer Criterium will be held on the purpose-built 1.5km road circuit at Odd Down, Bath, BA2 2PR.

Special prize funds for this event for ALL Categories as follows, except for the Masters races (see below) and the Go-Ride Race:

• 1st £50
• 2nd £40
• 3rd £30
• 4th £25
• 5th £15

Masters prizes are awarded in two groups – Masters C + D and Masters E and over each group will get:

• 1st  £40
• 2nd £30
• 3rd £25

There will also be sprint prizes as per the organisers’ discretion and announced on the day. The Go-Ride race will have special spot prizes. Go-Ride is open to those with limited or no racing experience.
