 ners Wheel/Bike It in Radstock (BA3 3AA)</li>\n<li><em>When</em>: Every Sa
 turday</li>\n<li><em>Time</em>: 08.30 (later if there is ice in the winter
 )</li>\n<li><em>Distance</em>: 60-70miles (Winter) & 70-90 miles (Summer)<
 /li>\n<li><em>Average Speed</em>: 16-18 mph (Winter) & 18-20+mph (Summer)<
 /li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Ride description</h2>\n<p>This is a fast paced “non-drop”
  group ride. You should be comfortable and confident riding in a close pro
 ximity group at speed. We ride as group for most of the ride. We try to st
 ay together on the hills\; however\, if the group fragments\, we regroup a
 fter the summit. There are also times when we ride through and off\, espec
 ially if there is a head wind. This slowly rotates the riders which lead t
 he group\, and spreads the effort between the group.</p>\n<p>The rides tak
 e in a coffee and cake stop\, this is usually little over halfway through 
 the route. The routes are posted in advance to the SVCC website. Whilst we
  try to follow the proposed routes\, sometimes we deviate from them. If yo
 u are intending on joining us <em>en route</em>\, please contact us in adv
 ance so we can ensure we don’t miss you.</p>\n<p>If you do get dropped fro
 m the group try and let one of the other riders know\; otherwise keep ridi
 ng on the same road: the rest of the group will wait at the next turn so t
 hat you’re not left behind.</p>\n<p>If you want to turn back early\, pleas
 e let the ride leader or one of the other riders know\, so that we’re not 
 out looking for you.</p>\n<p>Bring what you need: tubes\, pump\, tools\, s
 nacks\, fluids and money for coffee and cake. If you have a mechanical iss
 ue or need to stop\, please let the ride leader know or get one of the oth
 er riders to let them know. If you have a problem then someone or the whol
 e group will stay with you to resolve it. Please adhere to the highway cod
 e at ALL times and be considerate to other road users.</p>\n<p>The Sunday 
 club runs are NOT competitive. If that’s what you are looking for\, please
  talk to us about racing at the Odd Down Circuit or competing in the Club 
 Time Trials.</p>
