The public Saturday social ride – for all abilities!
When:
- First Saturday of every month
Ideal for:
- New or returning cyclists
- Cyclists wishing to gain confidence or wanting an introduction to riding with others
- This ride welcomes non-members to try out the club, however, the expectation is that if you regularly join the ride you will become a member
Key information:
- 20 miles on the same route every Saturday
- Led by an experienced club member
- Friendly, inclusive atmosphere at any easy pace: no-one will be left behind!
- Stop for coffee and cake
- Lycra is not essential!
The route:
- Download the GPX or TCX file to transfer to your navigation device
- To load the GPX file onto a Garmin device, transfer the file to the “NewFiles” folder
- To view the route online, upload the GPX file at www.bikehike.co.uk/mapview.php or ridewithgps.com/log

Hi Hazel, yes, there is parking in Radstock – some directly behind the Miners’ Wheel (where the ride starts) and more at signposted locations in town. It would be great to see you there! James

Hi Lizzie, the speed is slow and the distance relatively short so a hybrid bike would be absolutely fine. We look forward to seeing you there!
